Welcome. I write to hold myself accountable. Public declaration of the truth seems to help me achieve my goals by keeping me honest with myself. I write also so that others possibly sharing my journey, or a similar one, can have some company along the way...

I started this blog to chronicle my weight loss. My goal is to weigh 175lbs. This will require a weight loss of over 100lbs. Maybe I'll share the exact numbers with you once I've lost a few more pounds...

I wanted to accomplish this before the end of '08. But I realize now it's going to be a much longer journey, and that is (mostly) OK.
